The Board lifted Dominican Republic's suspension
In accordance with the EITI Standard, Dominican Republic's suspension is lifted following the publication of their 2021 EITI Report.
Board decision
The EITI Board temporarily suspended the Dominican Republic on 29 February 2024 for failing to publish their 2021 EITI Report. In accordance with the EITI Standard, it was agreed that if the outstanding data are not published within six months of the deadline i.e., 30 June 2024, the suspension will remain in force until the EITI Board is satisfied that the Dominican Republic has published EITI data in accordance with Requirement 4.8.
The Secretariat can confirm that the Dominican Republic published its 2021 Report on 15 July 2024. Thus, the condition for lifting the suspension has been met.
