Senegal's 2025 EITI Validation: call for views on stakeholder engagement

Senegal joined the EITI in 2013. On 8 May 2018, the EITI Board agreed that Senegal had made "satisfactory progress" in implementing the EITI Standard. Then, on 20 October 2021, Senegal was found to have achieved a very high overall score (93 points) in implementing the 2019 EITI Standard. Senegal's next Validation under the 2023 EITI Standard begins on 1 July 2025.

As part of the EITI Validation procedure, the EITI International Secretariat is seeking stakeholders' views on Senegal's progress in implementing the EITI Standard between October 2021 and July 2025. Stakeholders are asked to send their contributions to Hugo Paret ([email protected]) and Solofo Rakotoseheno ([email protected]) by 1 July 2025.
