The Board agreed to postpone Afghanistan’s Validation for four months until 1 November 2017.
Decision on the postponement of Afghanistan's Validation
The Board postpones Afghanistan’s Validation for four months due to exceptional circumstances. This follows a deadly attack on employees of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum on 24 July 2017 alongside a number of recent security incidents in Kabul. The new start date for Afghanistan’s Validation of 1 November 2017, taking into account progress at that date.
