The Board agreed the recommendations in Board paper 39-7-B Remuneration review.
Decision on the Remuneration review
The recommendation read as follows:
The salary scale is adjusted and the salary of the Head of Secretariat / Executive Director is now increased by 8% to USD 168k pa. The new Executive Director is to have up to 16% increase i.e. between USD 160k to USD 181k. The Executive Director will have discretion of a 4% increase in aggregate across staff now excluding increases for performance and promotion, and an annual increase for next three years to bring them in line with the new Executive Director. This would allow management flexibility in offering competitive remuneration to new and existing staff.
