Board decision
The EITI Board agreed on the procedure for targeted assessments of specific EITI Requirements under Article 8 of Section 1, Part 2 of the 2023 EITI Standard, including procedures for triggering a targeted assessment, the methodology and the consequences of targeted assessments. The EITI Board tasks the Validation Committee with oversight of targeted assessments given its responsibility for the EITI’s quality assurance mechanisms.
