Background

This is a second Validation. On 29 June 2018, the EITI Board found that Cameroon had made meaningful progress in implementing the EITI Standard (see Board decision 2018-32a). The Board established that progress in addressing 14 corrective actions would be assessed in a second Validation commencing 29 December 2019. The Board did not approve Cameroon's extension request on 13 February 2020 and agreed that the second Validation would commence on 13 February 2020, taking account of all information published up to that date.
