Jonas Moberg led the EITI’s International Secretariat from its inception in 2007 until August 2018. In this exclusive interview with RAWTalks, he shares the lessons he has learned from a decade at the helm of a multi-stakeholder organisation that has grown to 51 member countries, whilst weathering commodity booms and busts. He discusses the impact the EITI has had on resource-rich countries, why beneficial ownership disclosure is key to natural resource management, how the EITI is about much more than transparency, and what the organisation’s future may hold.
