Clémence Contensou

Advisor – Francophone Africa & MENA

Clémence was an Advisor for Francophone Africa. She supported the implementation of the EITI Standard in Guinea, Mali, Mauritania, Niger and Senegal. 

Prior to joining the EITI, Clémence worked with the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, where she was in charge of extractives governance, and was involved in hosting the EITI 2019 Global Conference in Paris. She has over six years of experience in diplomacy and international development.

Clémence holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from University of Cergy-Pontoise and a Master’s degree in Political Science/International affairs from Sciences Po Paris (France).
