Decision on Afghanistan's reporting deadline
The EITI Board noted that Afghanistan did not publish the EITI Report covering the fiscal year ending 20 December 2016 by the deadline of 20 December 2018, and that a request to extend the reporting deadline was submitted.
Recognising that the Afghanistan is currently suspended following its first Validation, the EITI Board calls upon the government to ensure progress with the corrective actions, including the publication of an EITI Report that meets requirement 4.8 on timely EITI Reporting in advance of the second Validation.
