Decision on the Independent Validator
The Board approves the appointment of Adam Smith International (ASI) as the Independent Validator for the 2017 Validations based on the recommendation of the Validation Committee.
This recommendation follows a competitive tender process, carried out by the International Secretariat in accordance with the EITI Validation procedures and the World Bank’s procurement guidelines. The work is co-financed by the World Bank EGPS. The appointment of ASI is subject to successful contract negotiations and the World Bank’s approval.
