28th Board Meeting in Naypyidaw, Myanmar
The international Board of the EITI is meeting in Naypyidaw, Myanmar on 14 and 15 October.
They will discuss the progress with implementation of the EITI’s transparency requirements in the 46 countries that are currently implementing the EITI. The board will decide whether Chad and Indonesia can be recognised as ‘Compliant’ with the requirements of the EITI. It will also assess applications for EITI ‘Candidature’ from Colombia and United Kingdom.
