Roberto Nardi
Head for Consolidated Financial Statements and Reporting, Eni
Roberto Nardi is Eni’s Head of consolidated financial statements and reporting and other statutory reporting obligations.
Eni is a global energy company, dual listed on Milan and New York stock exchanges, active at every stage of the value chain (from natural gas and oil to co-generated electricity and renewables, including both traditional and bio refining and chemicals) employing over 32,000 people in more than sixty countries.
Roberto started his career at Eni in 1992 by joining the team which conducted the IPO of Eni simultaneously at the Italian exchange and the NYSE (1995).
Throughout his career at Eni, he has held numerous roles in the Chief Financial Officer Department, initially in planning & control and then in the Group financial reporting department. He has led various transparency reporting projects, like the implementation of the Payments to Governments Report in 2015 (as per EU Directive 34/2013), the Country-by-Country report (BEPS action 13), the Conflict minerals report (as per Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank act) and supported several EITI-related disclosures in financial statements. More recently, he has coordinated a team to implement the EU Taxonomy and is being involved in implementing the EU CSRD requirements.
He also deals with US SEC reporting requirements for the Oil&Gas sector.
Roberto graduated in business administration at the Bocconi University in Milan, he is a chartered accountant and has an Italian qualification as auditor.
