EITI's Policy Director, Gisela Granado, participated in the UNDP policy symposium on financial integrity and governance from 14 to 15 May 2024
Where: Voksenaasen Hotell, Oslo
When: 14-15 May
As part of the UNDP Finance, Integrity and Governance (FIG) initiative's policy symposium on financial integrity and governance in Oslo, EITI's Policy Director, Gisela Granado, joined the discussions from 14 to 15 May.
This event marked the beginning of a series of three FIG policy symposia, which form the core of the UNDP's Finance, Integrity and Governance (FIG) initiative. Supported by Norway, FIG facilitates explorative conversations on financing for development in preparation for the Financing for Development (FfD4) Conference in mid-2025. Led by UNDP’s Global Policy Centre for Governance (GPCG) in collaboration with the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA), this initiative aims to inform global discourse and shape a renewed consensus on financing for development. The first symposium focused on international tax cooperation and illicit financial flows.
