The Global Beneficial Ownership Transparency Implementers Forum, organised by the EITI and Open Ownership, and supported by the BHP Foundation, engaged stakeholders working on beneficial ownership transparency, including government implementers from programme countries across four global regions, and representatives from local and global civil society organisations, to highlight the importance of beneficial ownership information and specific steps that are being taken to advance this agenda nationally and globally. View full programme.

This global event marked the official launch of Opening Extractives, a global five-year programme delivered by the EITI and Open Ownership and supported by the BHP Foundation which aims to end the use of anonymous companies linked to corruption and mismanagement in the extractive sector.
