Post Validation visit: Mozambique
The EITI international Secretariat will be visiting Mozambique on 1 December 2017 to discuss the validation results and follow up on validation corrective actions. Following the conclusion of Mozambique’s Validation, the Board reconised Mozambique’s efforts to embed transparency provisions in the legal framework governing the extractive sector, in the face of challenges including declining commodity prices and a public debt crisis.
