Tullow Oil is an independent oil and gas, exploration and production group, quoted on the London and Ghana stock exchanges. The Group has interests in over 30 exploration and production licences across six countries.
Tullow believes transparency regarding payments to governments is an important way to promote honesty in our industry, mitigate corruption and support inclusive development. Tullow has been a corporate supporter of the EITI since 2011 and its annual Payments to Governments Report provides details of all mandatory and voluntary tax payments.
Engagement with the EITI
Tullow Oil is actively involved in the EITI implementation process in several countries where it operates. The company is part of the multi-stakeholder group in Ghana and is a member of the EITI national committee in Mauritania. Tullow participates in and contributes to local civil society meetings where the EITI Standard is being implemented.
