Senior Vice President, Statkraft

Maja de Vibe has more than 20 years’ experience of working on anti-corruption challenges in the private and public sector across a range of countries. She currently holds the role of Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer at Statkraft – the largest renewable energy generator in Europe, present in over 20 countries. She previously held the role of Director for a research programme focused on governance and anti-corruption, providing analysis for the World Bank, the OECD and several national development agencies. Before that she spent nearly 10 years in Africa in management roles in the British government’s Department for International Development (now UK Aid) responsible for large programmes of governance and anti-corruption interventions. She also served as a long-term advisor to the Mozambican government on governance reforms. She is also a guest lecturer on ESG topics at Oxford University.
