Following the adoption of its beneficial ownership roadmap, Madagascar EITI commissioned a study on the legal, institutional and practical barriers preventing beneficial ownership disclosures and the creation of a public beneficial ownership registry. The study provided clear recommendations for all relevant stakeholders, as well as a concise assessment of capacity building and funding needs.
