Minera San Cristóbal

Minera San Cristóbal (MSC) is a Bolivian mining company. The company has invested in the world’s third-largest open-pit silver mine which is also the fifth-largest zinc mine, located in the Department of Potosí.

Minera San Cristóbal is characterised by being transparent in all its operations and activities and specifically in its financial reporting. As a member of the International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM) since 2018, we support and are aligned with the principles of the Extractives Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI).

Engagement with the EITI

Minera San Cristóbal complies with Bolivian legislation that requires the preparation of audited financial statements following its fiscal period and with international regulations such as the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRs) and the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act (J-SOX). The company provides its financial contribution to the EITI through its engagement with the ICMM.
