Statement of support

Engagement with the EITI

Companies in the extractive industries are key actors in establishing beneficial ownership transparency (BOT) as a global norm through their support of reforms, and as both publishers and users of beneficial ownership data. Repsol is one of six companies to sign a statement by companies on BOT, announcing a series of commitments to beneficial ownership transparency which are aligned with, but go beyond commitments in the Expectations for EITI supporting companies and the EITI Standard.
