Base Titanium

Base Titanium is a subsidiary of the Australian and UK-listed company, Base Resources Limited. The company is located in Kwale County and it operates Kenya’s largest mine.

Base Titanium adheres strictly to a policy of zero tolerance to all forms of corruption and unethical business practices. We expressly subscribe to the principles of the EITI and its aim to strengthen governance through improving transparency and accountability in the broader extractive industries sector and support and promote its implementation.

Engagement with the EITI   

Although Kenya is not currently classified as a candidate country, Base Titanium encourages the Government of Kenya to adopt the EITI Standard and it advocates at every opportunity that Kenya applies for membership.
