EITI Training Seminar in East Africa

Training for government officials and other stakeholders about the EITI is essential for success of the initiative. In 2009, three training seminars have been scheduled for stakeholders in EITI implementing countries, including countries that have recently joined like Tanzania or are seeking to do so like Mozambique.

These seminars will take place in Berlin, Germany (6-8 May); West Africa (3-5 June Douala, Cameroon); and East Africa (15-17 June Dar es Salaam, Tanzania). The seminars are closed events.
